Description
Two attackers start 25m from goal and attack one defender and the keeper. The ball carrier dribbles at the defender. If the defender commits, the carrier passes to the free attacker, who finishes first time.
Organisation
Penalty area plus 10m with a full goal. Attackers start in two lines with a ball pile. The defender starts on the edge of the area. After each attack, change the roles. Progression: a second defender recovers from behind after three seconds.
Coaching points
- Dribble straight at the defender to force a decision.
- The support player stays wide first and times the run.
- Pass early if the defender commits, shoot if the defender holds off.
- Finish low and across the keeper. Follow in for rebounds.
